Ladders are Frameworks for Ranking Players

We have Orange, Green, and Yellow Ladders – WRA Members Only

  • Participation in the ideally corresponds to the developmental level of the player
  • Each ladder winner receives a prize
  • The player who plays the most challenge matches receives a prize
Prizes
Ladder Prizes

The Ladder must be active – at least 6 matches played.  Players are entered on the ladder in the order they signup.  Therefore, matches must be played to have a ladder winner.

  • Yellow Ladder Winner – Free: Racquet Restringing Service
  • Green Ladder Winner – Free: Grip Replacement Service
  • Orange Ladder Winner – Free: Overgrip Service
  • Most Challenge Matches – With a minimum of 4 challenge matches – Free: Private Lesson

 

Yellow Ladder
Rules

Yellow balls, any legal racquet, 78′ court

  • Pro set to 8 games with deuce/ad, or
  • Pro set to 10 games with no ad
Green Ladder
Rules

Green balls, any legal racquet, 78′ court

  • Pro set to 8 games with no ad, or
  • 2 of 3 tiebreakers (1st to 7 by 2)
Orange Ladder
Rules

Orange balls, no 27″ racquets, 60′ court (e.g. WRA Court 2)

  • 2 of 3 sets to 4 games with no ad
  • Option for tiebreaker if tied at 1 set apiece

These are singles ladders
Can your player get at least 7 out of 10 serves in, and rally 12 times cooperatively over the net with forehands and backhands? And keep score with proper changes of side and net?
Your name, and your player's name, will be provided to the the other players/families on the Ladder.
This email will be used for all communication about the ladder, including provided to other players (family) to schedule the matches.
