*The following guidelines and policies only apply to registrations and payments made directly with Advantage Tennis.

 

 

Payments. Flex.
Payments: FLEX Price/Schedule Programs
    • Flex Priced Programs (Private, Semi-Private, Family Private, and Self Formed Groups)
        • You choose payment preference at the time of registration.
          • Pay through our website
          • Pay with Cash or Check
          • Advantage Tennis will send you an invoice
        • Self Formed Group (SFG) registrations: All players registered for the group will be charged for each occurrence, regardless of attendance. If a player discontinues attendance of the group, they must notify Advantage Tennis of the change to avoid continued charges.
        • If you choose to pay yourself through our website, but do not remit payment by the 4th lesson, Advantage Tennis will send an invoice to your registered email address.
          • If you fail to respond in a timely fashion, no further lessons will be scheduled until payment is remitted. 
          • In the event that you are experiencing any personal  financial complications, we can offer minor payment plans at our discretion. You must communicate with us in order to be eligible for these. The sooner that you let us know, the better we can help you!
        • Bounced check fees, at minimum you will be charged any fees levied by our or any other banks due to a returned, bounced, or Non Sufficient Fund (NSF) check in addition to owing the original amount due. 
        • For lessons held on Alexandria City Courts: The City requires court reservations to be made for lessons being held on their courts. The cost is currently a $10 fee for each reservation (1 class). We’re currently working with The City in a “Pilot Program” where Advantage Tennis will make these reservations on behalf of our customers. We will absorb some of the cost of this fee with slight cost increases to private, semi-private, family, and self formed group prices. You can find that updated pricing here.

 

 

Payments. Fixed.
Payments: FIXED Price/Schedule Programs
    • Fixed Price Programs (Advantage Tennis formed groups only)
        • Payment is due at the time of registration and will hold your spot in the class. If no payment is made, you may lose your chance to attend if the class fills prior to submission of payment
        • Prorating may be available if you request and are approved before the session starts. Please reach out at least 2 weeks prior to the start for the best chance for approval
        • If you or your child is removed due to inappropriate conduct, you will only be eligible for a partial refund of the remaining classes in the session. 
        • Some of our sponsors e.g. Alexandria City Recreation and Parks or Baroody Camps will have their own policies and processes for payment.

       

      Refunds.
      Refunds
        • Most refunds occur with registered players in a class that doesn’t run due to minimums or club/sponsor reprioritization.
          • All refunds are paid with a check that can be deposited electronically or printed and deposited. Refunds are typically processed within 2-3 weeks.
        • If you are truly unhappy with your experience after your 2nd lesson, we stand behind our Satisfaction Guaranteed Policy and will refund your purchase.
          • We would like the opportunity to remedy your unhappiness so please communicate with us as soon as possible.

       

      Cancellations
      Cancellations
      • WEATHER: You will not be charged for a cancellation due to the weather.
        • If a class is playing and bad weather strikes, forcing the coach or players to cancel the class, the class credit will be used if the class was 51% or more complete when it had to be stopped.
      • YOU CANCEL: Life happens, in the event of an emergency, please contact your coach or the support staff to notify them of any absences.
      • In order to not be charged for a private, semi-private, or family private lesson, you must cancel at least 24 hrs in advance under normal circumstances. It costs our coach & team time, fuel and money to be on the courts and ready to teach.
      • OUR PLANNING: We build in makeup days for most groups where possible. In the event that cancellations exceed makeup days, registrants may be eligible for a prorated refund.
      • WE HAVE TO CANCEL: In the event that group lessons are cancelled due to under-enrollment or other circumstances, you will receive a full refund.
      Special Considerations
      Special Considerations for Group Programs
    • Advantage Tennis Formed Group Programs
      • Withdrawal
        • If you provide notice at least 1 week prior to the start of a group, you are eligible for a full refund or credits toward future programming.
        • If you fail to notify advantage tennis prior to the start of the class, but do not attend, you will be eligible only for a prorated refund or credits.
        • We structure classes and assign coaches based on participation numbers among other factors, and in the event of late notice, this could significantly alter the course of a class or classes.
      • Waitlists
        • In the event of a class being filled to waitlist status, we do our best to get the online system to remove the required payment link. In the event that you have paid, but are not able to attend the class due to capacity, you will receive a full refund. 
          • Semi-Private or Self-Formed Groups
            • In order for the lessons to continue with partial attendance, all players will be charged the lesson type-rate unless advanced arrangements have been made. For example: player 1 and player 2 have a regularly scheduled semi-private lesson. Player 1 arrived, but player 2 is a no call/no show. Player 1 and Player 2 will both be charged the normal rate for a semi-private lesson.
