Registration Support Info

LIMITS:To ensure quality there are upper and lower limits on the number of players in our classes.

• We will not increase our player-coach or player-court ratios beyond quality levels.
• We work hard to form the best groups for players to develop

WAITING LIST:  Do not despair if you get on a waiting list, but let us know if we don’t contact you first..

WINTER PROGRAMS: Private, Family Private, Semi-Private and Small Group lessons are available year around; outdoor lessons may be limited from December/Thanksgiving through February pending weather.

REGISTER ONCE: We want your registration to be singular and good for the entire calendar year, which runs January to December for some things and usually March to February for others.

Fixed Price / Fixed Schedule programs are exactly as they sound. The schedule for a certain number of classes is prescribed, and the cost for the entire set of classes is also prescribed.

We may use Fixed Price / Fixed Schedule programs, for example, when we only have the courts available for a certain number of weeks.

Flex Programs are Group classes that allow players to attend classes, when it is convenient to you, as opposed to being on a fixed number and schedule of sessions. Private lessons and most Self-Formed Groups are typically on Flex scheduling.

You must be registered for a program before attending a class in any of our on-court programs whether it is a Flexed or Fixed program type of class.

Your registration placates the lawyers and insurance people, and also allows us to communicate with you.

You/your player(s) must be registered to participate in our tennis programs. At the same time, registration by itself does not commit you to anything.

• • You can register up to 4 Children at a time through the Registration Form as long as every one of them has the same:
    • parents/guardians,
    • home address, and
    • emergency contact information.
  • Adults still have to register one at a time.

Your registration AND payment hold your spot in the program.

• If you are on the wait list you can wait to pay until your spot is confirmed before you pay.
• If you pay and a class doesn’t form, for instance if registration is below minimum, you will have a credit for another class; and/or be able to get a refund.
• We have a lot of class flexibility for you, which makes Registration options complex, and sometimes confusing.

 

• When your registration form is successfully complete you may be taken to PayPal for your payment, and you should be taken or returned to a web page with this picture:

If you don’t receive an email copy of your registration check your spam folder.  If you don’t have a copy of your registration please contact us.

• You will receive a Google Calendar invite from Advantage Tennis for your classes. If not, contact us and/or your coach.
• If you have a Gmail account your Google calendar will be populated with our invite whether you use Google calendar or not, that is the nature of Google.
• You may disregard our calendar invites if they are of no use to you.
• If we have to cancel a class, a calendar cancellation may be one of the ways that we notify you of the cancellation.

We may utilize the sign-up process if we are starting a new program or trying to form a custom group or make minims for certain (new?) groups before registering. Sign-up forms are generally put in place for specific programs.

You can pay with cash, check or charge (processed via PayPal).  Directions for these options are on the Payment page.

You also have have the option to be invoiced later (via PayPal).

You can also pay with your Advantage Tennis Gift Card, if you select that option in the registration form.
