The Mubadala Citi Open was a huge success again.

On the men’s side our own Ben Shelton made the semi-finals before bowing out.  Australian Alex De Minaur won the championship.

On the women’s side, Lelah Fernandez stormed to a title with poise, purpose, and energy in every match. Taylor Townsend was the last of the American women standing as she lost in the quarterfinals to ultimate champion Fernandez.

We have 5 American women in the 4th Round, and the men’s 3rd round is still in play with 4 American men in the 3rd round.

 The results of the US Open is likely to change the order of the top 20 on both tours.
