It is convenient that grouping players by level not only makes tennis more fun, and more competitive, but also it is one of the keys to improving play. We work hard on grouping players of all levels that we work with, and try to give as much opportunity for play as possible. Additionally, we provide scholarships to needy players that include class tuition, racquets and/or balls.
Take the Journey
Advantage Tennis was founded on the premise that tennis should be learned holistically for your lifetime. It is not just about skills, drills, and coaches imparting wit and wisdom; nor, is it just about winning. For players to play their best, to sustainably reach their ideal athletic potential, they will need strong personal character, “it-takes-a-village” support, and a variety of experiences, with a safe open environment for learning.
Positively Tennis
Learning needs to be fun. The environment needs to be positive, safe for trial and error, motivating, and rewarding. The rewards may be personal or social: skills and knowledge, relief and relaxation, or simple joy. Becoming a good tennis player takes work, and we want it to be enjoyable for your longer, healthier lifetime.
Continuous Improvement
Our continuously evolving curriculum and approaches to teaching, coaching, and training are intended to nurture a lifelong love of tennis – helping you attain your holistic best. Our staff and coaches are passionate, committed, and unified by a set of values and one curriculum that are expansive, yet deep. In all that we do, we aim to support and enrich our local community and environment one group of players at a time.
Environmentally Responsible
The U.S. puts more than 100 million used tennis balls in landfills each year, and who knows how many instead lay in fields and streams all over the country. These greenhouse gas producing rubber ball effectively do not compose. It is estimated that it take 400 years for a tennis ball to decompose. We work hard to provide bins, logistics, and pay the freight to rid the planet of these yellow felted problems everywhere we go, and some places we’re not even allowed to go.
